MAINTENANCE
NodoItalia ropes and fabrics are UV-resistant, but prolonged exposure to intense sunlight can still affect color and strength over time. To extend their durability, we recommend using shade or protective covers when not in use. During wet weather, rain can carry dirt and pollutants that accelerate wear. Cushions and textiles should be covered or stored in dry, ventilated spaces—especially during the off-season. Always avoid plastic wraps, which can trap moisture and lead to mildew.

CARE
Basic, consistent care helps preserve both appearance and performance. Gently brush off dirt, vacuum regularly, or wipe with a damp cloth to prevent buildup. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry completely. Removable covers can be machine washed at 30°C using a gentle cycle and neutral detergent. Do not use softeners or overload the machine. Always air dry and never iron.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Treat stains promptly. Remove excess material with absorbent paper or a soft brush, then clean with a sponge or cloth and a mild soap solution. Rinse well, pat dry, and air dry fully before reuse. For machine washing, remove fillings, apply Velcro protection if needed, and wash covers separately on a gentle cycle. Avoid spin-intensive settings and plastic storage to maintain fabric integrity.

HYGIENE & SAFETY
NodoItalia fabrics are fully recyclable, hypoallergenic, and resistant to bacteria and mold. They can be sanitized safely with 70% alcohol or sodium hypochlorite up to 0.5% without compromising texture or color—even after repeated cleaning. Their hydrophobic nature makes them ideal for both outdoor and indoor environments, including high-traffic or shared spaces, where hygiene and skin sensitivity are a concern.
